Oh dear...

Yesterday an interesting comment appeared below the post about the 'unprovoked attack' on NCC Chief Antisocial Behaviour Officer Richard Antcliff on the 'Nottingham is Crap' blog.

I did a few routine enquiries but nobody I knew could shed any light on the matter. However, see this Evening Post article.

So it appears to check out. As I said, oh dear.

I feel duty bound to remind readers that being arrested or charged is not the same as being convicted so lets not have any childish pointing and staring or shameless gloating. No seriously now, I mean it. Stop giggling at the back...

On the other hand if he IS convicted it will be a shoe in for fail of the year.

One to watch...

Well when the city council "bosses" and "under-boss" gangsters are spending tax payers money on their wangster lifestyle in Cannes on a Yacht "powder Monkey" at a cost in excess of £50,000 for their partying in Cannes we should expect some of their captains to fall foul of the law from time to time. No doubt the Nottingham City Council mafia will help him with an expert lawyer. Wonder what the CCTV footage shows that led to his being arrested in a "specially planned police operation". I wonder why it was "specially planned"? Perhaps because it involved doing some actual policing of the City Council Crime Lords?

It's certainly a beauty of a news story. All we need now is the cabinet member for housing to be evicted and the cabinet memeber for education to fail his SATs.

...or how about NCC having to pay out backdated Council Tax Benefit to a former welfare rights worker who wasn't able to claim earlier because of the depression caused by being hounded out of his job...by the Head of NCC's Housing and Council Tax Benefits service!
