tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5279091405234136771.post4755553266525175811..comments2023-10-07T13:06:03.088+01:00Comments on Nottingham City Council LOLs: Proud to be Still Failing to Pay Discretionary Housing PaymentsAndyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03710776765139258627noreply@blogger.comBlogger1125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5279091405234136771.post-5786233215346093202012-05-20T22:48:33.010+01:002012-05-20T22:48:33.010+01:00I applied for a DHP for £137 when this scheme firs...I applied for a DHP for £137 when this scheme first came out which was a result of an NCC benefits blunder and they claimed that I was not in receipt of DWP benefits when I was and they refused to backdate the claim that they shut down and caused me to end up in debt and refused to pay a DHP despite my financial situation was that I was on manual DWP payments because of a complete cock up in the DWP and my claim got closed.<br /><br />So I ended up paying the £137 over short period as they demanded payment at a rate set by them which I later found out should have been based on my ability to pay, not what they say I have to pay.<br /><br />For the £3,000 odd debt from HB and CTax I have been plunged in to by NCC, I will be applying for a DHP and I will get back to you as soon as the benefits tribunal farce rules in favor of NCC.<br /><br />I am going Buddhist on this with the philosophy that I am not expecting to win so my expectations and faith in the system will not be shattered when its returned as a foregone conclusion.<br /><br />My tribunal has been in play since about April last year...
